# Pointe vs SubTel Forum

The clearest difference is rating: SubTel Forum at 5.0 against Pointe's 4.5. SubTel Forum also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 33 months) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). Pointe's advantage is ratings volume (46 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SubTel Forum holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pointe has 46 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Pointe ships an update every 33 months, SubTel Forum every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
