# EveryCord vs SafeOpen

The clearest difference is rating: SafeOpen at 5.0 against EveryCord's 4.2. EveryCord's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EveryCord sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and SafeOpen sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SafeOpen holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EveryCord has 2.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
