# Ballbutton vs iTennisLadder

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iTennisLadder at 100% against Ballbutton's 50%. Ballbutton's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 9 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ballbutton holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ballbutton has 516 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Ballbutton's written reviews are positive against 100% of iTennisLadder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ballbutton ships an update every 6 weeks, iTennisLadder every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
