# HAAK vs Shadow Hunter

The clearest difference is price: HAAK at $1.99 against Shadow Hunter's $4.99. Shadow Hunter's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (322 vs 101). On rating, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

HAAK costs $1.99 and Shadow Hunter $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shadow Hunter holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 101 and 322 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of HAAK's written reviews are positive against 69% of Shadow Hunter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
