# ApowerREC vs Screen Recorder

The clearest difference is rating: Screen Recorder at 4.3 against ApowerREC's 2.8. Screen Recorder also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 241). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ApowerREC sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Screen Recorder sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screen Recorder holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screen Recorder has 11K ratings behind it against 241, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 33% and 34% positive.

ApowerREC ships an update every 3 weeks, Screen Recorder monthly. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
