# TinyPoll vs Countdown

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Countdown at 82% against TinyPoll's 28%. Countdown also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.5) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). TinyPoll's advantage is iOS requirement (12.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TinyPoll sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per year and Countdown sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown has 3.1K ratings behind it against 152, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 28% of TinyPoll's written reviews are positive against 82% of Countdown's.

TinyPoll ships an update every 3 weeks, Countdown weekly. Both last shipped on October 2, 2026.
