# AKC.TV vs Horse.TV

The clearest difference is rating: AKC.TV at 4.7 against Horse.TV's 3.5. AKC.TV also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (4K vs 134). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Horse.TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. AKC.TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

AKC.TV holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AKC.TV has 4K ratings behind it against 134, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of AKC.TV's written reviews are positive against 51% of Horse.TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AKC.TV ships an update every 2 months, Horse.TV every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
