# TE3 Pro vs stronglifts

The clearest difference is update cadence: stronglifts at every 5 days against TE3 Pro's every 3 weeks. TE3 Pro's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TE3 Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, stronglifts every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
