# Instant Camo vs Continue Camera

The clearest difference is rating: Instant Camo at 4.1 against Continue Camera's 2.8. Instant Camo also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Instant Camo sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Continue Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Instant Camo holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Instant Camo has 304 ratings behind it against 52, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 40% and 40% positive.

Instant Camo ships an update monthly, Continue Camera every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
