# Optika vs Remove person

The clearest difference is rating: Remove person at 4.7 against Optika's 4.3. Remove person also leads on ratings volume (598 vs 23). Optika's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 63%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Optika sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Remove person sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remove person holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remove person has 598 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Optika's written reviews are positive against 63% of Remove person's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Optika ships an update every 9 days, Remove person every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
