# Shift Calendar vs Shift Calendar

The clearest difference is ads: Shift Calendar at none against Shift Calendar's shown. Shift Calendar also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months). Shift Calendar's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shift Calendar sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Shift Calendar sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shift Calendar ships an update every 3 months, Shift Calendar every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
