# Lockmagic vs ShadowNet

The clearest difference is rating: Lockmagic at 4.8 against ShadowNet's 4.5. Lockmagic also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). ShadowNet's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (29 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lockmagic holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ShadowNet has 29 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lockmagic ships an update monthly, ShadowNet weekly. The most recent releases landed on June 1, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
