# Kubatel vs BMS Tool

The clearest difference is ads: Kubatel at none against BMS Tool's shown. Kubatel also leads on rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 7). BMS Tool's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 45%) and iOS requirement (15.2 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kubatel sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and BMS Tool sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kubatel holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kubatel has 1.4K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Kubatel's written reviews are positive against 71% of BMS Tool's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kubatel ships an update every 9 days, BMS Tool every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
