# Starting5 vs 82

The clearest difference is ads: Starting5 at none against 82's shown. Starting5 also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). 82's advantage is ratings volume (137 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Starting5 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 82 has 137 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
