# ABC Reading vs ABC Learning

The clearest difference is ratings volume: ABC Reading at 761 against ABC Learning's 37. ABC Reading also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ABC Reading sells 31 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and ABC Learning sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $69.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for ABC Reading against 4.7 for ABC Learning. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ABC Reading has 761 ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 87% of ABC Reading's written reviews are positive against 89% of ABC Learning's.

ABC Reading ships an update fortnightly, ABC Learning every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
