# ABC Reading vs 红逗号

ABC Reading and 红逗号 are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Both are free to download. ABC Reading sells 31 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and 红逗号 sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ABC Reading ships an update every 2 weeks, 红逗号 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
