# Horror Escape vs Detective Strange

The clearest difference is ads: Horror Escape at none against Detective Strange's shown. Horror Escape also leads on review sentiment (73% vs 45%) and ratings volume (472 vs 39). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Horror Escape sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Detective Strange sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Horror Escape against 4.2 for Detective Strange. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Horror Escape has 472 ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Horror Escape's written reviews are positive against 45% of Detective Strange's.
