# MADE Hoops vs XYM

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MADE Hoops at none against XYM's 1. MADE Hoops also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 7). XYM's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 45 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. XYM sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MADE Hoops asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for MADE Hoops against 4.7 for XYM. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MADE Hoops has 2.8K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MADE Hoops ships an update every 45 months, XYM every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
