# PTBTX2™ vs Whisper

The clearest difference is update cadence: Whisper at every 4 days against PTBTX2™'s every 15 months. PTBTX2™'s advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PTBTX2™ ships an update every 15 months, Whisper every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
