# 大藏经 vs 禪典

The clearest difference is update cadence: 大藏经 at every 4 days against 禪典's every 20 months. 大藏经 also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

大藏经 ships an update every 4 days, 禪典 every 20 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
