# HSL vs Waltti Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Waltti Mobile at 4.9 against HSL's 3.9. Waltti Mobile also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). HSL's advantage is review sentiment (14% vs 0%) and ratings volume (484 vs 40). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Waltti Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HSL has 484 ratings behind it against 40, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of HSL's written reviews are positive against 0% of Waltti Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HSL ships an update monthly, Waltti Mobile every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
