# Homework Pal vs Assignment

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Homework Pal at none against Assignment's 1. Homework Pal also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 1). Assignment's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Assignment sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Homework Pal asks for nothing beyond the download.

Assignment holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homework Pal has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 83% and 83% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
