# Singpass vs Sprout HR

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Singpass at 7.8K against Sprout HR's 5. Singpass also leads on review sentiment (45% vs 36%). Sprout HR's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sprout HR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Singpass has 7.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Singpass's written reviews are positive against 36% of Sprout HR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Singpass ships an update every 5 weeks, Sprout HR fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
