# Art Collection vs behind.art

The clearest difference is rating: Art Collection at 4.0 against behind.art's 3.0. Art Collection also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months). behind.art's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 33%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Art Collection sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and behind.art sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Art Collection holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Art Collection has 76 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Art Collection's written reviews are positive against 50% of behind.art's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Art Collection ships an update every 10 days, behind.art every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
