# Look comics vs Manga Reader ㅤ

The clearest difference is rating: Manga Reader ㅤ at 4.5 against Look comics's 3.8. Manga Reader ㅤ also leads on ratings volume (18K vs 10) and chart position (#149 vs unranked). Look comics's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Look comics sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Manga Reader ㅤ sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Manga Reader ㅤ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Manga Reader ㅤ has 18K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Look comics's written reviews are positive against 13% of Manga Reader ㅤ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Look comics ships an update every 3 weeks, Manga Reader ㅤ monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
