# Look comics vs Manga Capsule

Look comics and Manga Capsule both sit at 3.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 87% of Manga Capsule's written reviews are positive against 20% of Look comics's. Look comics's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.3). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Look comics sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Manga Capsule sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Manga Capsule holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 20 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of Look comics's written reviews are positive against 87% of Manga Capsule's.

Look comics ships an update every 3 weeks, Manga Capsule fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
