# schul.cloud vs tutor.new

The clearest difference is review sentiment: schul.cloud at 86% against tutor.new's 50%. schul.cloud also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13) and ratings volume (51 vs 3). tutor.new's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. tutor.new sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. schul.cloud asks for nothing beyond the download.

tutor.new holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: schul.cloud has 51 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of schul.cloud's written reviews are positive against 50% of tutor.new's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

schul.cloud ships an update fortnightly, tutor.new every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
