# Pig Pile vs Coin Drop!

The clearest difference is rating: Pig Pile at 4.4 against Coin Drop!'s 3.7. Pig Pile also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (278 vs 34). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pig Pile sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Coin Drop! sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pig Pile holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pig Pile has 278 ratings behind it against 34, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Pig Pile's written reviews are positive against 48% of Coin Drop!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pig Pile ships an update every 5 weeks, Coin Drop! every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
