# TDMAX vs CRPlayTV

The clearest difference is rating: CRPlayTV at 5.0 against TDMAX's 4.0. CRPlayTV also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). TDMAX's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TDMAX sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. CRPlayTV asks for nothing beyond the download.

CRPlayTV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TDMAX has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TDMAX ships an update fortnightly, CRPlayTV monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
