# My Hetzner vs SSH Term

The clearest difference is rating: SSH Term at 4.2 against My Hetzner's 2.0. SSH Term also leads on ratings volume (14 vs 2). My Hetzner's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SSH Term sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. My Hetzner asks for nothing beyond the download.

SSH Term holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SSH Term has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of My Hetzner's written reviews are positive against 60% of SSH Term's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Hetzner ships an update every 4 days, SSH Term weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
