# EXFO OPM vs Pre

The clearest difference is rating: Pre at 5.0 against EXFO OPM's 1.0. EXFO OPM's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pre holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EXFO OPM has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
