# FanSaves vs Shot Tracker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FanSaves at none against Shot Tracker's 2. FanSaves also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). Shot Tracker's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 90%). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shot Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. FanSaves asks for nothing beyond the download.

FanSaves holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of FanSaves's written reviews are positive against 100% of Shot Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FanSaves ships an update every 6 weeks, Shot Tracker fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
