# Astrocode vs ThenThat

The clearest difference is update cadence: Astrocode at every 2 weeks against ThenThat's every 4 months. Astrocode also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 26.0). ThenThat's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Astrocode sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ThenThat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Astrocode ships an update every 2 weeks, ThenThat every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
