# PGFOne vs Day8 VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Day8 VPN at 4.7 against PGFOne's 1.8. Day8 VPN also leads on ratings volume (102 vs 17). PGFOne's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 30%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PGFOne sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Day8 VPN sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Day8 VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Day8 VPN has 102 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of PGFOne's written reviews are positive against 30% of Day8 VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
