# EDEKA smart vs BA

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EDEKA smart at 96% against BA's 36%. BA's advantage is rating (3.5 vs 3.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BA holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of EDEKA smart's written reviews are positive against 36% of BA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EDEKA smart ships an update every 6 weeks, BA monthly. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
