# SolaCom vs MyOncor

The clearest difference is rating: MyOncor at 2.8 against SolaCom's 2.5. MyOncor also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (187 vs 12). SolaCom's advantage is review sentiment (29% vs 20%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyOncor holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyOncor has 187 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of SolaCom's written reviews are positive against 20% of MyOncor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SolaCom ships an update every 4 months, MyOncor every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
