# Basepoint vs SITA 2

The clearest difference is update cadence: Basepoint at every 2 weeks against SITA 2's every 2 months. SITA 2's advantage is iOS requirement (11.1 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Basepoint ships an update every 2 weeks, SITA 2 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
