# APSRTC vs Where is my train

The clearest difference is rating: Where is my train at 4.1 against APSRTC's 2.0. Where is my train also leads on ratings volume (136 vs 7). APSRTC's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Where is my train sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. APSRTC asks for nothing beyond the download.

Where is my train holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Where is my train has 136 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of APSRTC's written reviews are positive against 8% of Where is my train's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

APSRTC ships an update every 3 months, Where is my train every 32 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
