# DFS Unlock vs A

The clearest difference is update cadence: DFS Unlock at every 4 months against A's every 13 months. DFS Unlock also leads on ratings volume (10 vs 1) and iOS requirement (8 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

A holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DFS Unlock has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DFS Unlock ships an update every 4 months, A every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
