# Flash Tag AR vs RealTag

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Flash Tag AR at 94% against RealTag's 33%. Flash Tag AR also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.6) and ratings volume (139 vs 16). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flash Tag AR sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and RealTag sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flash Tag AR holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.6. Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
