# ClasStars vs SmartTeach

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SmartTeach at none against ClasStars's 4. SmartTeach also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). ClasStars's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ClasStars sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. SmartTeach asks for nothing beyond the download.

ClasStars holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartTeach has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
