# TheMagic5 vs Coach Parry

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Coach Parry at 100% against TheMagic5's 48%. Coach Parry also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). TheMagic5's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (2.9K vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TheMagic5 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TheMagic5 has 2.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of TheMagic5's written reviews are positive against 100% of Coach Parry's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TheMagic5 ships an update every 2 months, Coach Parry every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
