# Chatflix vs Cindie

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chatflix at fortnightly against Cindie's every 4 months. Cindie's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chatflix sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Cindie sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chatflix ships an update fortnightly, Cindie every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
