# Star Fantasy vs Vortexika

The clearest difference is ads: Star Fantasy at none against Vortexika's shown. Star Fantasy also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 80%). Vortexika's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Star Fantasy sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Vortexika sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vortexika holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vortexika has 54 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Star Fantasy's written reviews are positive against 80% of Vortexika's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Star Fantasy ships an update weekly, Vortexika every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
