# Screen Recorder vs Note+2

The clearest difference is rating: Screen Recorder at 4.5 against Note+2's 2.0. Screen Recorder also leads on ratings volume (111K vs 3). Note+2's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screen Recorder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Note+2 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Screen Recorder holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screen Recorder has 111K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Screen Recorder's written reviews are positive against 50% of Note+2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Screen Recorder ships an update every 2 months, Note+2 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
