# Notch DIY vs Charger Master

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Notch DIY at 84% against Charger Master's 27%. Notch DIY also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Charger Master's advantage is ratings volume (6.1K vs 508) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notch DIY sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Charger Master sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notch DIY holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Charger Master has 6.1K ratings behind it against 508, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 84% of Notch DIY's written reviews are positive against 27% of Charger Master's.

Notch DIY ships an update every 3 weeks, Charger Master every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
