# Secueye vs BTACAM

The clearest difference is rating: BTACAM at 4.0 against Secueye's 2.9. BTACAM also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Secueye's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BTACAM holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secueye has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Secueye's written reviews are positive against 10% of BTACAM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Secueye ships an update every 4 weeks, BTACAM monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
