# Fighter Jet Flying Simulator vs Flight Simulator

The clearest difference is rating: Fighter Jet Flying Simulator at 5.0 against Flight Simulator's 4.1. Fighter Jet Flying Simulator also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). Flight Simulator's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (4.7K vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fighter Jet Flying Simulator sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Flight Simulator sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fighter Jet Flying Simulator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Simulator has 4.7K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Fighter Jet Flying Simulator's written reviews are positive against 18% of Flight Simulator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fighter Jet Flying Simulator ships an update every 12 months, Flight Simulator fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
