# Smash Deep vs Blocks

The clearest difference is ads: Smash Deep at none against Blocks's shown. Smash Deep also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smash Deep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Blocks sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
