# Bright Notes vs Re;Mind

The clearest difference is rating: Re;Mind at 5.0 against Bright Notes's 4.5. Re;Mind also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 94 months). Bright Notes's advantage is ratings volume (50 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bright Notes sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Re;Mind sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Re;Mind holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bright Notes has 50 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bright Notes ships an update every 94 months, Re;Mind every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
